GOLDEN MANGANYI

Director and Hydrogeologist (Pr.Sci.Nat)

Golden is a Director and Hydrogeologist at Masana Waste and Environmental Management Pty Limited (MWEM) and has over 10 years consulting experience. He is responsible for MWEM’s groundwater and surface water services.  

His career began in 2008 after completing his Diploma in Geology, as a graduate geologist at GCS (PTY) LTD. This is where he gained extensive experience in the field of hydrogeology and Geology. He was largely involved with conducting field work such as core logging, managing drilling and testing contractors. He conducted a lot of successfully geophysical investigation with a special focus on Electromagnetic, Magnetic, Resistivity and Gravity methods for groundwater exploration purposes

Prior to starting MWEM PTY LIMITED in August 2015, Golden was employed by Golder Associates Africa as a hydrogeologist for four years and was involved in several mining hydrogeology and ground water resource project

Rotanzwiwa is a Geologist with Masana Waste and Environmental Management Pty Limited (MWEM) and is responsible for MWEM’s groundwater, surface water and Geotechnical investigation for foundation purposes. Rotanzwiwa has over 5 years of working experience within the field of hydrogeology, Groundwater supply projects, Geotechnical investigation and Geophysics.

His career began in 2016 after completing his Btech in Geology, as a graduate geologist. This is where he gained extensive experience in the field of hydrogeology and Geology. He was largely involved with conducting field work such as managing drilling and testing contractors. He conducted a lot of successfully geophysical investigation with a special focus on Electromagnetic and Magnetic methods for groundwater exploration purposes.

MAHLATSE MOGASHOA

Mahlatse is a Geologist with Masana Waste and Environmental Management Pty Limited (MWEM) and is responsible for MWEM’s Geotechnical services. Upon completing her B-tech in Geology, she worked for the Council for Geoscience, assisting with geotechnical field work that included near surface investigations and Dolomite stability projects. Assisting with laboratory testing in engineering geology and environmental geology. Monitoring and collecting air, water and dust samples for environmental research projects.

Her career began in 2016, as a Geophysics trainee for Open ground resources. She then worked with the Council for Geoscience where she gained extensive experience in the Geological, Geotechnical and Geohydrological disciplines. Upon joining MWEM, she has been largely involved in conducting field work such as core logging, managing drilling contractors and pump testing contractors as well as report writing.

SINOTHANDO MOERANE

Engineering Geologist

Sinothando is a Hydrogeologist with Masana Waste and Environmental Management (MWEM) Pty Limited. Her roles for MWEM include hydrogeological and geotechnical investigations. Sinothando has 1.5 years working experience within the field of geotechnical, and hydrogeological investigations.

Her career started in August 2021 during her final year of Undergraduate degree in Engineering and Environmental Geology. She further studied and obtained her BSc (Hons) degree majoring in Geohydrology. She has gained extensive experience in the geotechnical and hydrogeological field. She has been involved in conducting field work such as soil profiling, drill chip logging, groundwater sampling and monitoring, field and laboratory data analysis and interpretation, and report writing.

Desktop study and preparation for site investigation for both Geotechnical Engineering and Hydrogeological Investigations.

Developed, analyzed, and interpreted various topographical maps, raster datasets and georeferenced satellite images.

Sphesihle is a Senior Engineering Geologist for Masana Waste and Environmental Management Pty Limited (MWEM) and has over 10 years consulting experience in the geotechnical engineering and geohydrological fields.

His roles in geotechnical engineering projects include, liaising with clients, planning and executing site investigation, supervision of field tests, core logging, interpretation of laboratory results and report writing for review by Pr. Scientist.

KUTLOANO MOKGOSANA

Operations Administrator

Kutloano is an Operations Administrator with Masana Waste and Environmental Management (MWEM) Pty Limited. Her roles for MWEM include Bookkeeping and Administrative Support. Kutloano has over 5 years working experience.

Her career began in 2014, as an Administrator. She then worked with Soillab where she gained extensive experience. She further studied and obtained her Bachelor’s in business administration. She is mainly involved in maintaining records for all transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and processing reimbursement.

Monitoring operational performance to identify areas for improvement or adjustments in staff levels or training requirements.
